I was born and raised in southwest Virginia. I received my MFA in poetry from the University of Alabama. In addition to poetry, I've been prolific in flash fiction and creative nonfiction. Since 2008, I've published music journalism and written bios/press releases for bands. Along the way, I developed my interest in art into creating lyrical abstract paintings and resin work.
I am available for writing, editing, and commissioned art projects. I also write bios for musicians.
